Synthetic carbon is ideally suited to the manufacture of seals for devices using either linear or rotational movement. Our range of products consist of materials for seals, slide bearings and pump components which characterized by low coefficient of friction and high wear resistance.

Carbon components are also suitable for use under the following conditions:

• To prevent the passage of corrosive elements (acids, dyes, steam and gases) in a broad range of temperatures
• In substances which dissolve lubricants but have no hydrodynamic lubricating characteristic of their own.
• At high temperatures where lubrication with oil is impossible.
• For dry running under conditions where conventional materials have reached their limits of use.
